The Museumplein Ice Rink returns to the cultural heart of Amsterdam until February 6, 2026. Between the Rijksmuseum, the Concertgebouw, and the Van Gogh Museum, you'll find an atmospheric ice rink where tradition, fun, and meeting people come together.

A beloved ice rink once stood here between 1887 and 1937, and in 1893 the first official World Speed Skating Championships were held there, won by Jaap Eden. With the Museumplein Ice Rink, we are reviving this tradition. Glide across the ice, sample cookies & more! Zopie and experience the magic of winter in the city.
