Exhibitions

This year, H’ART Museum presents a new exhibition: Henri Matisse (1869–1954). Open until 14 February 2026.

On display at H’ART Museum this autumn: Henri Matisse (1869–1954), one of the greatest innovators of modern art! You know him for his bold use of colour and iconic cut-outs. But did you know that throughout his life, he continued searching for the perfect balance between simplicity, form and expression?

Chez Matisse – Masterpieces from Centre Pompidou brings together more than eighty works of art. Alongside an extensive selection of works by Matisse, you will also see art by contemporaries and followers, including Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman and Pablo Picasso.

This exhibition was curated in collaboration with Centre Pompidou, which manages one of the world's most prominent Matisse collections.
