At the Rembrandt House Museum, you step into the former home and studio of Rembrandt van Rijn, where the famous artist lived for nearly twenty years and created many of his masterpieces. The historic building has been furnished as it looked in the 17th century, offering you a unique glimpse into Rembrandt's daily life.

During your visit, you will discover Rembrandt's various rooms, the studio and the etching attic. The multimedia tour will teach you more about Rembrandt's life, his work and the people around him. For children, there is a special audio tour in which Rembrandt's little dog Kwast guides them through the museum on a treasure hunt. Along the way, they discover the house in an interactive way, and once they complete the treasure hunt, a small prize awaits them!

In addition, daily demonstrations show you how Rembrandt made his paints and how his famous etchings were created.
