Weekend ticket for Brasadag at Maassilo Rotterdam

Two days of feeling at home in the Caribbean. Caribbean and Latin music, and a food court featuring cuisines from Suriname, Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius and Saba, all under one roof.

Why Brasadag?
On 25 November 1975, Suriname gained independence. 51 years later, we celebrate that history in Rotterdam, the city where many Surinamese and Caribbean Dutch people have found their home.

Brasadag connects Suriname, Curaçao and Aruba with the Netherlands. We share music, stories, food and traditions, and pass them on to the next generation.

Food Market
Can you smell it already? From roti and pom to black pudding, bami and banana chips. At our food court, local chefs and entrepreneurs cook with recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Creole, Hindustani, Javanese and Caribbean, all under one roof.
