During the Amsterdam Light Festival, the canal district transforms into an open-air museum of light art. And the best way to admire it? From the water, in the comfort of a heated, covered canal boat. The special Amsterdam Light Festival cruise lasts approximately 90 minutes and takes you past more than twenty light artworks by international artists. What can you expect from this cruise? This covered cruise is the way to experience the festival in complete comfort. The boats are heated, covered, and equipped with a Personal Audio System. This allows you to listen to the official Amsterdam Light Festival report, available in Dutch and English. During this tour, you'll see light installations specially designed for the 14th edition of the festival, themed Legacy. What legacy will we leave for future generations? And what will we take with us from the past? Each installation tells its own story, from personal memories to universal questions about legacy.

• Wheelchair accessible: yes, it is important to book in advance for the wheelchair accessible boats. The available time slots for wheelchair accessible boats are: 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. To ensure there is room on a wheelchair accessible boat, we recommend booking in advance. During the booking process, you can easily indicate if there will be a wheelchair in your party, so we can prepare everything properly.
