Halloween at Drouwenerzand is suitable and meant for the whole family - young, old, and older - as we call it, and Halloween lovers with guts!

A Halloween day is really different than usual. The entire park is in a spooky, cozy, and sometimes maybe a little scary Halloween atmosphere; pumpkins, corn stalks, straw bales, and Halloween decorations are everywhere.

Happy Halloween; 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

During Happy Halloween, the activities and horrors are aimed at families with children up to about 12 years old, that's why they call it ‘Happy Halloween’. Of course, you can stay until 9:00 PM. There are free activities such as the haunted house ‘Happy Maze’ (new!), carve a pumpkin and have wounds placed. 'Happy Maze' is aimed at primary school age children, where you can roast marshmallows, make your own popcorn and enjoy free cotton candy.

During Happy Halloween (1:30 PM - 5:30 PM), friendly Halloween characters will be walking around the Happy Festival and Happy Christmas themed areas, a fantastic experience for children to have their picture taken with!

Lost in the Park; 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

From 6:00 PM they will herald the scary era of 'Lost in the Park', from that moment on, gruesome creatures will roam through the themed areas, which are now called Horror Circus and Horror Christmas.

The recommended age for these areas is 12+. You are, of course, very welcome from 1:00 PM onward. Dressing up at the Amusement Park: Children of primary school age are allowed to come to the amusement park dressed up during Halloween. Children aged 12/13 and older, as well as adults, are therefore NOT permitted to enter the amusement park dressed as ghouls. To avoid any misunderstandings, they feel it is important to make it clear to our guests that all ghouls walking around the amusement park on Halloween belong to Drouwenerzand. They count on your understanding.

Enjoy your meal
During the Halloween days, the kitchen is open from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, so you can enjoy what the All-In formula has to offer: fresh fruit, fresh soup of the day, sandwiches, fries, various snacks, sauces, coffee, tea, lemonade, and ice cream.

Even more delicious treats
In the theme areas, there are cozy bars and food trucks where, for a fee, you can enjoy churros, pizza slices, waffles, bratwurst, soft drinks, and 0.0 mulled wine.

Panic Button
Are you a bit anxious and unsure whether you dare to face the gruesome horrors after 6:00 PM? Then buy a Panic Button. With one press of the Panic Button, the scary person in front of you knows that he/she has to keep/take a distance.
