Slagharen Theme Park is all about the Wild West. Enjoy an unforgettable day with more than 30 attractions for all ages. From thrilling roller coasters to fun family attractions: there is something for everyone to enjoy. Experience spectacular attractions such as the lightning-fast Gold Rush roller coaster or discover the new Sky Sifter attraction in 2026, where you choose between an intense or family-friendly experience.

New in 2026: Sky Sifter

Sky Sifter, the newest Wild West attraction, opens in spring 2026! Here, you decide just how intense your adventure will be. Choose the golden route, an intense experience that takes you completely upside down, or take the silver route for a more family-friendly experience where you swing without going upside down.

Shows & Entertainment
Slagharen is not just about attractions, but also about fun and entertainment with shows & entertainment.

• Meet Randy & Rosie during shows, dance moments and meet & greets

Wild West Summer Nights
22, 25 and 29 July and 1, 5, 8, 12 and 15 August 2026

When the sun slowly sets over the Slagharen prairie, the park truly comes to life. During Wild West Summer Nights, the park transforms into a vibrant evening festival. Not ordinary summer evenings, but eight atmospheric evenings when the park stays open until 9:00 pm.

During the day, you experience the familiar Slagharen, but at the end of the afternoon, Mayor Bright fires the symbolic starting shot at Fountain Square. In various locations throughout the park, live music, artists and entertainers provide surprising performances, while a relaxed atmosphere fills the air. Grab a delicious drink or enjoy one of the many snacks. In between, hop on your favourite attractions or play a game of laser tag at Crows Nest, a unique Halloween location that has now been specially transformed into a laser tag arena.

Wild West Summer Nights are the perfect mix of rides, music, food & drinks. Summer like you have never experienced it before – in the heart of the Wild West.

Getting there

There is a large car park opposite the entrance. Parking costs €12.50 per car. Travelling by public transport? The easiest option is to take the train to Hardenberg, Coevorden, Zwolle or Hoogeveen railway station. Then take the bus and get off right outside the park entrance. Plan your journey via Google Maps.
