Ice skating + hot chocolate at Cool Event Scheveningen

In the heart of Scheveningen, you'll find two fun ways to enjoy the season this winter. Skate By The Sea is a new, unique ice rink on the boulevard, right on the beach. Here you can skate with stunning views of the North Sea, a 60-meter-long rink where you can feel the fresh sea breeze and watch the sun set over the horizon as you glide across the ice. In the evening, the rink even transforms into a disco ice floor, with music and atmosphere while the waves roll in the background.

At the same time, Kurhausplein serves as the familiar backdrop for the annual Cool Event Scheveningen. In the middle of this square, in front of the iconic Kurhaus Hotel, there's a covered ice rink of approximately 600m² where all ages can skate. The square is buzzing with winter fun: while children and adults have fun on the ice, you can enjoy a hot drink or a snack at one of the cozy restaurants around the square.
