Vivaldi’s masterpiece The Four Seasons is one of the most popular compositions in the world. Through great dynamics and appealing melodies, Antonio Vivaldi knows how to flawlessly express the cycle of nature. Listen to a sizzling summer, a promising spring or a thunderstorm and icy cold. All this passionately performed by the musicians of The Bach Orchestra of the Netherlands with the Spanish violin virtuoso Enrique Gomez-Cabrero Fernandez as soloist.
The Stabat Mater by Luigi Boccherini (1743-1805) was written for soprano solo and string quintet. The transparent and intimate character in combination with beautiful vocal lines fits perfectly with the ethereal soprano voice of Olga Zinovieva. An unknown jewel in baroque music that will undoubtedly touch you.
