A museum that every family member enjoys? That is the Toy Museum Mechelen! Since October 5, 2024, the museum can be found at its new location near Mechelen station, offering a playful journey of discovery through the history of toys and play, from the past to the present.

Upon entry, you receive a personal wristband that allows you to activate interactive elements and discover additional information about the exhibited pieces. Visitors embark on an adventure through four rooms, where they search for the answer to four central questions: What is play? How has play evolved over time? Why do we play? and Who plays? There is much to discover, and playing is not only allowed, but even necessary to make the adventure complete!

Toy Museum Mechelen is fully accessible to visitors in wheelchairs or with strollers. The entire museum experience takes place on a single floor, with ample space to maneuver and play.
