Adventurous Summer Evenings

This summer, you can also explore WILDLANDS in the evening! Only from July 25th to August 9th, WILDLANDS is open from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm. Enjoy an atmospheric summer evening with animals, attractions, and adventure. End your visit in style at the Savanna Presentation at 7:00 pm. The keepers will tell you everything about the savanna animals as you watch them come inside for the night.

Extra treat: When purchasing a menu at Rimbula Restaurant, Momma's Restaurant, or Travellers Taste, you'll receive a free Kidsbox for children up to 12 years old. Kids can enjoy fries with mayonnaise and a cheese soufflé or frikandel. There’s also a fun surprise in the box!

The world's largest indoor jungle

Set out on an adventure in Jungola. Start your journey in the indoor Butterfly Temple where hundreds of exotic butterflies fly all around you. Further on, in the world's largest indoor jungle, sail across the Rimbula River and perhaps see the elephants taking a refreshing dip next to your boat. Let the sounds of the rainforest guide you and spot dozens of tropical birds. And if you look carefully, you might even meet ring-tailed lemurs and black lemurs.

Unlimited playtime

Come let loose in Animazia, the covered XL play paradise for young adventurers. A play world full of rope bridges, tree houses, and slides for endless fun. Play in the sandbox and pull the boats across as a real adventurer. You can also visit tropical fish, impressive sea turtles, and funny naked mole rats.

Embark on an adventure

Climb aboard the safari truck and join the adventure. Get up close to rhinos, gnus, and zebras and learn more about the different animals on the vast plain. Is it really too cold or too slippery outside for the savannah animals? Then you can visit them in the stables.

The icy cold

Cool off in Nortica, the polar region of WILDLANDS. Come face to face with polar bears and penguins, who perform the craziest antics underwater. Or admire the swimming skills of sea lions and seals at Nortica Hâfen. Board the Arctic 1 and take a virtual test flight past the ice caps. 

New at WILDLANDS: Yunka

Experience the mysterious atmosphere of the South American jungle! Step into a misty, green landscape and meet sloths, green iguanas, emperor tamarins, and more. In this indoor area, you'll discover how animals live in the different layers of the rainforest, from the forest floor to high up in the trees.

Renovations

The indoor jungle is getting a makeover! The goal: an even more adventurous and future-ready indoor jungle, with new animal enclosures and improved routes for visitors.
