The charm of an atmospheric outdoor fair: from June 19 to 21, 2026, the sixth edition of the atmospheric country & lifestyle fair Zomer Heerlijckheid will take place on the enchanting grounds of Warmelo Castle Estate in Diepenheim. A wonderful opportunity to find inspiration in a fairytale atmosphere and enjoy shopping for the delightful summer we are so looking forward to!

Get into the summer spirit early at the atmospheric outdoor fair Zomer Heerlijckheid! The beautiful surroundings of the Warmelo Estate and its castle, along with the sweet scent of summer, promise a wonderful experience. Over 125 exhibitors will present themselves in luxurious pagoda tents, showcasing the best they have to offer. Visitors can find inspiration, enjoy a delightful stroll through the fair, and go shopping. From culinary surprises such as homemade dishes and select wines, to atmospheric antique, brocante, and trendy home and garden decorations, art presentations, and sunny summer fashion. Naturally, various food trucks will be present again this year, and you can enjoy live music and a choir on various terraces or participate in a workshop. There is a varied side program: from bird of prey demonstrations to a sheep herding workshop. Get inspired and come enjoy some pleasant shopping and fun!

Visit the fair and the beautiful gardens of Warmelo Castle, including the sand sculptures, all in one day!

Today, Warmelo Castle is inhabited by the Avenarius family, and events take place on the estate a few times a year. These include the 20 sand sculptures created by artists from all over the world. The result is always stunning; more than 950 cubic meters of sand have been incorporated into the various artworks. In addition to the sand sculptures, you can take a beautiful walk through the 7-hectare park. Warmelo is best known for the gardens in various styles surrounding the house. These include a Victorian garden, a geometric French-style garden, and an English-style landscape garden. A landscape park surrounds the house and the gardens. Besides their diversity, the gardens are known for their azaleas, rhododendrons, roses, and more than 300 varieties of fuchsias. To visit the Zomer Heerlijckheid fair, including the gardens and the sand sculptures at Warmelo Castle, reserve a combination ticket.

The Zomer Heerlijckheid fair takes place partly on asphalted grounds, but also in the meadows and the old orchard. Dogs are very welcome provided they are kept on a leash (exclusively at the fair, not in the Castle gardens).
