Lunchroom De Koffiepot
Lunchroom “de Koffiepot” has been located in the center of Hardenberg since 1977. That year, the Meertens family started a snack bar called "Snelbuffet Meertens." This snack bar was soon converted into a daytime restaurant called "de Koffiepot." The formula was adjusted, and they began to focus more on shoppers. When the lunchroom had already proven successful for several years, a major renovation was decided upon in 1991. A completely new room was built behind the existing building, expanding the lunchroom's capacity by 40 seats, creating space for approximately 100 guests. In 2014, De Koffiepot won the ‘tastiest lunchroom sandwich in the Netherlands’ award, which is still sold in abundance every day!
