Celebrate Halloween with the whole family during Happy Halloween at Attractiepark De Waarbeek in Hengelo. The park transforms into a cheerful Halloween world with pumpkins, friendly spooky characters and plenty of activities for all ages. All Halloween activities are included with admission.

Halloween activities

There is plenty to experience all day long. Carve your own pumpkin, get your face painted in Halloween style and go trick-or-treating with a Trick or Treat card. You can also roast your own marshmallows by the campfire. The cheerful Spoek’s Creatures roam around the park for selfies, high-fives and a fun meet-and-greet.

Spooky Halloween

For those who enjoy a little excitement, there are two haunted houses. At Spoek’s Lasergame, you will embark on an adventure recommended for ages 6 and up. Pelle's Curse is more exciting and recommended for ages 12 and up.

Theme park fun for the whole family

In addition to all the Halloween activities, you can of course enjoy the attractions at De Waarbeek. From thrilling rides to fun attractions for the youngest visitors: there is plenty to experience for various age groups. This way, you can combine a day at the theme park with a fun Halloween experience.

Happy Halloween at De Waarbeek takes place in October 2026 on 3, 10, 14, 17 and 24 October from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
