Not far from the place where the Neanderthal was found more than 160 years ago, one of the most modern museums in Europe is located today. The museum tells the story of mankind from its beginnings more than four million years ago in the African savannahs to the present day. Multimedia applications, audio fragments, but also classic media such as authentic museum pieces and text readers, provide a lively picture of the latest research results from archaeology and paleoanthropology.
